AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

After 2 weeks i figured it was bad cpu and not other component that was crashing my system. I had to lock cpu to base clock speed in bios to boot into windows. The movement it gets over 3.9 clock it crashes the system. Its amazon that sold bad chips on prime day and wont even replace the cpu. Amazon prime day was Waste of time and money. My build is incomplete without cpu.

The box did not contain the processor. Just the fan and an empty box for the CPU.

I received the 3800X yesterday (paid standard retail price) and paired it with the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra motherboard. I am extremely pleased with how well the system performs. No overclocking at this time and the CPU runs mostly at 4.4 GHz with an occasional dip down to 3.9 GHz .

The cpu is great but you wont ever get your promotional digital download codes that are some times packaged with products like this. I was told all should be fixed by calling amazon customer service but i must have called 4 or 5 times and never got my download codes.

Great CPU, no issues, runs cool, reliable, and a great horsepower for my 4k editing rig. It even handles my 8k video. Very impressed with the price to performance of this chip.

It was in stock! Nice and fast, replaced my Ryzen 2700 with the 3800X, nice speed increase.

if the r7 3700x is cheaper, go for it because its the exact same thing

This chip is so good! Ths temps and performance are off the charts. I really am satisfied with this purchase.
