AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics

I installed it on a B450 motherboard after installing the upgraded BIOS. But I had absolutely terrible graphics performance, especially the 3D, as it would not even run some of the DirectX apps. It was across the board far worse than my old 2400g processor. Turns out that Microsoft installs a driver from 2006 and tells you this is the best available. To get the actual performance improvement, go to the AMD driver support and install the Adrenaline drivers. This is likely dependent on your motherboard, but do verify you have AMD display driver. Also, make sure your BIOS is up to date. AMD has improved the memory access performance in the past months.

great cpu for gaming. i’m using a 1070 strix with this cpu and i can play any game at ultra with high fps. video editing is very fast and crisp as well. highly recommend. best 8 core cpu hands down

It is a good CPU, 8-core with built-in Radeon graphic card. My PC is approximately 30% faster after upgrade from Ryzen 5. Highly recommended

Processore con capacità di calcolo al top in termini di velocità e con grafica integrata di livello accettabile: sufficiente per far girare giochi in fullHD. Ha la metà della cache dei Ryzen 7 senza grafica integrata e non ha il supporto al PCI Express 4.0 ma nella sostanza non si registrano differenze significative in termini di resa e prestazioni.

Ryzen 7 5700G seems a great CPU with integrated GPU (do check package at time of delivery: first shipment only had cooler). Great performance for the money with respect to the multi-threaded programs I write and considerably cheaper than intel equivalent (i5-12600) at time of purchase. As its an iGPU, its not suitable for gaming (but would still be a cheap 16 thread CPU to go with a dedicated GPU).
