This Processor is a fast 8 cores and shows up as responsive as you would expect. Matched with a 1080Ti video card it is great for gaming.

Wow, huge step up from the 4650g. 5700g flies, but it does run far hotter than the the likes of 4650g, 2200g and 3400g. Very impressed.

Awesome to play games on while Im waiting for those god-awful prices to fall. I was able to overclock my CPU to around 5.5Ghz without much of a temperature hike, even with the stock cooler (most likely cause AMD CPUs are much more efficient than Intel). To make it understandable what games you can play (make sure to download the Radeon Software to get the latest drivers or most games will be slideshows) PS3 era games are amazing, PS4 era games run ok to bad(except for Doom Eternal because that game is so well optimized) and PS5 era games are still slideshows (10-20 FPS if lucky). I heavily recommend this CPU for anyone wanting to build their first system, who needs a very good CPU (such as sound engineering in my case) and doesnt want to feed the scalpers taking advantage of the silicon shortage.

Considering the fact that I wont have a GPU in the beginning of my build, I went for the 5700g due to its top of the line integrated graphics, if you have a GPU though, it is recommended to go for the X series, (5800x, 5700x, etc.) on account double the L3 cache. Now, the integrated graphics certainly arent any top of the line RTX level graphics. But you can certainly pull off 60+ FPS in modern games due to the 8 cores this CPU presents, as well as the high clock speeds. For around $180, this CPU is definitely a steal.

Es un gran procesador, no lo utilizo para jugar juegos super demandantes, mas para trabajo y visualización de datos. Para eso me ha funcionado a la perfección.

Estaba dudando si comprar el Ryzen 7 sin gráficos ol 5700G. Finalmente me decidí por el G para no tener que comprar una gráfica aparte ya que no juego mucho. Por ahora solo juego al Farcry 5 y a tope de gráficos va perfecto. Acuerdate de ajustar la BIOS para compartir más de los 512MB de graficos que vienen por defecto
