Value wise the only thing that beats it is the 5600g but this one is just a bit more powerful and should stay relevant much longer. I paired with some high speed ram and it just flies.

Accidentally bent a couple of the prongs trying to upgrade my cpu for the first time but I managed to get is straight and it’s a very obvious improvement from my old cpu so it’s great just be careful

I just upgraded from a ryzen 3 to this and also upgraded my graphics card and now I can game in 1080p on high or ultra settings. If you can get it for a good price, Id say go for it! From what Ive read, even upgrading from a ryzen 5 to this there is a noticeable difference.

Upgraded from a 5950x I know I know how is that a upgrade? In my Ghost s1 I had to disable half the cores as heat was a issue. The case I got would now align with the L Top Hat so water cooling was out of question had to go air so went air cooling.

great mid range budget APU if you are short on cash but the 5800X3D is better if you want to game on an APU with some decent settings. Halo infinite on this APU runs fine but you can see where it lacks the power. still great for everyday PC usage though.
