AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

A good stone, I took it even before the price dropped (I play Fortnite and CS GO without freezes, if you need something powerful and not expensive for games, then this is the most ideal option.

This processor runs very hot at stock settings. After running various benchmark utilities this processor gets up to 87c and starts to thermal throttle a little. I am able to reach an all core boost at 4.48 GHz sustained, however it runs about 3c below the max temp. I tried several different coolers, one of which was the Dark Rock Pro 4 which should be rated for up to a 250W TDP. I tried remounting the cooler multiple times, as well as my H110i v2 with no real change. It idles comfortably at around 36c, so I dont think its a mounting problem. Ive also read on multiple forums that it may be a voltage problem, or just bad chips. I personally dont like to run my hardware so close to the thermal limits, I usually like to have a 10-20c buffer. I may end up returning this processor if possible.
