AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Great for my home virtualization server. Updated BIOS and now running 24 threads! Now I run out of RAM and storage before I run out of GHz! Memory bandwidth is maxed out w 12 cores, so why spend $300 more for sub-optimized cores?

I stream and game at the same time with this. I can edit and render videos fast! This is a great cpu. Now its on sale as well. I highly recommend this if you have More to do than just game.

I needed to buy a bigger power supply to get it to run at full speed, be aware of your TDP

Dead after 2 years without over clock. PCI lane must be out as the GPU will not start. Change CPU and everything is fine. Looks like I need to get ahold of AMD for a replacement.

Havent had any issues. Works as advertised. Firing up a bunch of VMs at the same time (like 10-12 at a time) is such a giddy feeling. They just pop and show up. Hi5 all.

Processeur performant, mais pas de SGX sur les AMD, donc pas de lecture possible de Blu-ray UHD 4K, même avec un lecteur certifié UHD-4K. (Seul les processeurs Intel en sont capable). Cest pour moi un bémol pour ce processeur.

Put it in my gaming desktop, now I can run Minecraft at more than 60 fps. Well worth.

This is a solid and very versatile CPU. The only issue is the boost clock not reaching the advertised 4.6GHz but AMD promised to fix that in upcoming BIOS updates.
