Ran this for a few months not really knowing better. Until recently while rendering video, my PC would just shut off. At first I thought it was my new video card, then my PSU, then finally I watched the CPU temp while rendering and watched it go for 72 to 110 before my PC shut off. I then also realized, I was only ever getting 4.0 ghz out of this. Just yesterday I put a AIO water cooling system in and Im getting 4.3 ghz while idling and the temp doesnt go over 72 and everything works so much better,

I haven’t had any hiccups yet out of it. I play Total war 2 with other stuff open and the cpu stays at around 50-55 degrees with a sub optimal air flow in my case. I haven’t overclocked it as I’m not comfortable doing so, so keep that in mind. I don’t think I’ve seen much of any temperature issue I’ve been hearing about just yet but I’ve been on top of it. Would recommend if you had the extra cash to have however many tasks that need doing at the same time.

What a tremendous piece of hardware for 2019/2020. This processor is so fast, especially capable when i throw multiple tasks at it. I really dont think Intel is worth considering right now compared to 3rd gen Ryzen options.
