> 3 dayRemind me again why intel is the leader un Market share. AMD are dominating the market from budget CPUs all the way up to top tier many core workstations processors. This cpu destroys the I9 9900k by 50% in most workstation loads and only falls back by almost a margin of error in gaming due to Intels higher clock speed on the i9. An absolute bargain and well worth the peice over intel. Also incredibly easy to overclock and undervolt to get temps lower as the default voltage is 1.43v which is a bios issue with x570 boards, not the cpu to be clear.

> 3 dayComing from a Core™ i7-6700K system I built in late 2017, which has been super fast and reliable, I realized I needed more performance for editing and exporting 4K footage of my churchs sermons, which at the least are 25 minutes long, and at the most, an hour. Having read about AMDs impressive comeback with the Ryzen processors, I decided to go with the Ryzen™ 9 3900X. This is my first AMD build, so I was very excited for it.

> 3 dayThis CPU is a powerhouse. I recently upgraded my PC for gaming / content creation / photography. I am running a 3900X 12 core Ryzen with 128GB G Skill 3600 RAM, and 10 HDD, and my old 1070 from previous build. This CPU is solid, and the stock cooler handles things well. It is a little loud out of the box because the fan is stock set to ramp up and down as CPU temps rise, but using the software / bios allows you to make a much better fan curve to keep the PC much more silent. (Probably should be like this as stock). My advice is to have a solid line on the graph until 62 degrees, then a steep line up to 75 degrees at which point max fans would kick in. This stops the fan ramping activity I saw out of the box.

> 3 daySo I bought ryzen 3900x along with aorus master x570 and 64gb corsair rams to replace my old nuc8i7 that I have been working for almost 3 years. I was expecting a huge differance in performance but guss what? I got the half the performance of my old nuc with the new setup. I hope I could tune otherthing to get the best of this setup but anyway I will keep trying and may be change my review later
