AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

This cpu is an absolute beast and pairs wonderfully with my 3080ti, but if your looking at buying one for yourself, you already knew this. With my 240mm AIO, it keeps it quite cool at a solid 80C or less in most AAA titles (rdr2, cold war, borderlands, apex). To my surprise, it actually stays cooler than my 3700x despite pulling more energy (about 100 to 120 watts in games) which I believe to be from a better IHS design, but I could have had a bad 3700x. On my system, it pulls about 50 watts at idle and sticks around 50 to 60C, but this will vary depending on what background apps you have running. Overall, I would definitely recommend the 5900x, however, if your sole intentions with it is to game, I would recommend looking at charts comparing it to the 5800x 3d in your favorite games as the 5800x is faster in some games while the 5900x is faster in others.

Pasé de un ryzen 5 2400g a este, fue un cambio brutal, en juegos los fps subieron, siendo mas especifico, warzone paso de 70 fps a 120, en edicion de video ya no sufro con que la visualización previa de trabe y puedo editar con más facilidad.

Después de probarlo en tareas comunes como Office, leer correo, con procesos de programación de servicios en Java, Kotlin, Spring, montar una BD de prueba y ejecutar Virtualizaciones de Linux, el sistema cumple cabalmente con todas las tareas, la cantidad de nucleso muy util para asignar recursos en virtualización. la capacidad extra sirve y el multi hilo bastante util en simulaciones y baterias de pruebas de estres.

Im glad I got this CPU at MSRP. This CPU is great paired with my 32 GB of 4000Mhz RAM and Nvidia 3080.

Got it in June, was waiting for all the parts to arrive before installing into X370 MSI Carbon pro.

Me dio calidad gold en los programas de análisis, no he tenido ningún problema ni de calor ni de rendimiento, cumple exactamente lo esperado. Tenía un 3700x que iba bastante bien, y aunque noto el salto en los programas de edición, en juegos no tanto, la verdad. La temperatura no me ha subido especialmente, aunque tengo refrigeración líquida, esperaba notar algo, pero es casi igual al 3700x. De todas maneras con hacerle un undervolt y ajustar a una velocidad estable, ya tendrás estabilidad más que suficiente en el ratio temperatura/velocidad Hz/voltaje
