amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch 2017 (2-Pack)

Im way too much of a perfectionist to frequent the screen protector scene. Generally speaking, I baby my phones and have no need for one (Im going on 2 years with this Galaxy S6 and its IMMACULATE). I also live in a fairly dusty house. And in general, just dont like how they look. I had previously bought the Official PDP screen protector, and it was AWFUL. Plastic, off-center cut-outs, and it was too large to adhere to all 4 sides properly. I promise you, the 1-star rating that item has on Amazon is completely warranted. But this one is amazing! It went on perfectly on my first try, looks and feels amazing, and now I know I wont scratch the screen! As a side note, I have the worlds smallest speck of dust under my Switch screen. So small in fact, I often forget its there and thus I refuse to go through the hassle of sending it in to have it removed... But someone mentioned to me that a screen protector would make the speck more noticeable. It doesnt, in case anyone else in the world can relate to this issue. Anyway, the best part is that I even have the second screen protector as a spare now! This item, for $11 is a definite 5-star win from an infamous screen protector hater!

The product arrives in a well protected case carrying all of the appliances promised upon purchase. It was a quick installation and i was dumbfounded to see absolutely ZERO bubbles after applying the tempered glass screen protector. Pros: The manufacturer is truthful with what content is inside the box and was happy to see nothing was missing! Clear instruction manual that gave me a good idea how to apply the screen protector. Great price for 2 quality sheets of tempered glass. The cleaning tools were extremely helpful in the end with the screen ending up practically looking as if there is no screen protector installed. Cons: As many other screen protector manufacturers try their best to give clear instructions its pretty easy to make a slip up and put a fingertip on the part thats supposed to stick onto the actual screen. Overall: 5/5 This product provides a very good quality tempered glass screen protector that is easy to apply with no visible bubbles or smudges. Even if small bubbles are stuck you are left with a card like object which is used to get rid of the remaining bubbles after applying. Despite the cons, that all depends on human error and not the manufacturer so i stick with a 5/5 for this product. I definitely recommend this product!

This is not my first screen protector from this company (amFilm) but its my first one for the switch. Applying the screen protector is very easy, they include the tabs to secure the protector to the device to assist lining it up on the screen before permanent application. I didnt use the tabs (used them for my phones screen protector and they are amazing but thats off-topic lol) but I still had no problems applying the protector. Just line it up correctly, peel off the back, apply with pressure in the middle of the protector and push outwards, and youre done! I fudged up that third part but I used the included cardstock to push the bubbles out to the edge and my screen protector has been going strong since! Since Ive applied the protector, I have dropped my switch on its face on a sharp corner (my computer desk leg has rectangular feet) and the protector still looks brand new. No nicks where it hit the sharp corner. Overall, very pleased with this purchase! Very glad its a two-pack, although I dont think Ill need the second protector unless a wrecking ball hits my switch screen.

We have two Nintendo Switches. I bought mine around launch time, and got this also, hey every screen needs a protector. I was super happy with what came - not only did it truly include everything you needed to install it the RIGHT way, but this thing was real, it was some film that just seemed to make it scratch resistant, this was a solid SHEET or plastic. It is thick, and I was concerned that it would mess with the screen quality (nope), or stick out and be annoying (nope). It has by far been the best of all the accessories Ive purchased for the Switch. I then surprised my wife with her own Switch when Splatoons came out, I used the second screen on her Switch (so the price actually covered two Switches). My son plays on my wifes Switch and was too rough - I picked it up a week ago and noticed this HUGE crack on the screen. Flipping out I realized, the screen was in A1 condition, he had broken the plastic protector...so it did its job. It was actually still working after that, not affecting my wifes ability to play Splatoons in handheld mode as the crack disappears under the brightness of the Switchs display. However, my experience with other things similar to this, when its designed to protect something and cracks/breaks, just replace it. So I bought a second one, and was so happy with it I decided to write a review (I only do that when the product deserves praise). The first time I tried putting this thing on, it was hard to do, the process was simple, especially since I refused to take the Switch out the box until I had protection for it (6 and a 2 year old in the house), but I still cleaned the screen off with the supplied wet wipe, then dried it off with the supplied dry wipe. I took the wrap off the side you are supposed to take it of and tried to place it on my Switchs screen. It immediately started adhering, which was great, as it did so, it was pushing out air bubbles and everything, but because of the thickness, it not being on their perfectly straight was a problem. I ended up pulling it up at a corner and reapplying it several times before I got it where I wanted it. Because I did it so much it did get air bubbles, and I had to use the supplied card to scrap them out. Took some work, but WELL worth it. When I put the screen on my wifes Switch though, I was already a bit more experienced and was able to outfit it in a few minutes (hers was being used, so I took extra care when cleaning hers). Just now I put it on and only had to redo it once to get it perfect - so it will take some practice, but again WELL WORTH IT.

Easy instructions, fits perfect, makes the switch look new after having a scratched up protector on if for so long. Hopefully I wont need to replace it (due to dropping and cracking it)!

First time applying a screen protector and I think it went well, even if its a little lopsided! I followed advice from a review about not using the wipes in the accessories packet as it could be corrosive with the Switch material. Just used a little soapy water and a dry micro fiber cloth did the job and it came out with no bubbles once I went over it with a card. I would highly recommend good lighting and cleaning the work space so nothing gets stuck to the adhesive side. A few little hairs snuck under the screen but other than that, Ill be careful next time I install it.

This is honestly a great screen protecter. I received the protector in the mail and prepared immediately to put it on. There are directions and hints on how to apply your protector inside the box. On a side note, I just wanted to mention how well the putter box construction was. It made the experience feel much more high quality. So, one such hint which many here in the reviews have mentioned as well is to steam up your restroom and apply the protector in there. It keeps dust from flying around so much and eventually landing back on your screen before applying your new screen protecter. The glass is a perfect fit, with almost no excess screen that isnt covered. If you take your time and have paitence along with using the sticker system to line up the glass before hand and then apply your glass protector, there is an almost 0% chance of screwing it up. When you drop the glass initially different sections of the glass will start to stick at random spots. Much like how glass protectors are applied to cell phone screens, start with giving the middle a firm push on the glass to start the seal. Afterwards from that middle spot you should work your way from the middle to the outside edges to press out any trapped bubbles that may show up. Ive seen a few video tutorials on how to apply this exact glass protector and the instructor manages to get air bubbles stuck, at least initially. When I did mine the way mentioned above the couple bubbles I did have were small and already close to the edge, and were easy to rub out with just a couple swipes of my thumbs. No card or excessive rubbing needed. I bought this protector as a means of protection from the news/rumors that the dock was scratching the screen. So mine remained out of the dock until this protector could arrive. I am very happy it came so quickly. I too agree with many reviews noting that with this glass on the switch is a much more snug fit. I dont believe it will be an issue if you are someone who normally treats your equipment with care. Otherwise for those who dont or are worried about your kids habits with the machine, maybe keep an eye out on it to check for the protector sliding out of its original position over time or maybe even cracks. If that indeed becomes the case, youll be even happier that for this price two protectors come included. So overall I really like this glass protector over many Ive bought before. It also feels so nice over the Switch screen. I think most can appreciate that. I look forward to seeing how it holds up over time and of course if any issues arise I will update my review with that situation.

This screen protector kit for the Nintendo Switch is an exceptional value for the price. The kit comes with everything that you would need to install a bubble free screen protector. I followed the provided instructions, and tip such as installing the screen protector in a steamy bathroom in order to minimize dust. It comes with 2x wet wipes and 2x dry wipes, 8 adhesive stickers (I believe for removal), 2x screen protectors, cardboard wedge for removing air bubbles, and a microfiber cloth. The installation itself was easy and straight forward. Turn on shower to hot, and then use wet wipes and dry wipes to clean the screen. After I cleaned the screen, I turned off the shower and used the micro fiber cloth to remove any steam or streaks. The screen protector comes with tabs for easy installation and once you peel the back plastic, you can place the screen protector onto the screen. While I did have a fairly large bubble in the center of my screen, it was easy to push it without damaging my screen or protector with the provided wedge. All in all 5/5 stars, would recommend.

Really good glass screen protector seems nicer then the onn glass protector Ive been buying from Walmart.I will say the onn protector has a tray that help you line it up but its not hard to install glass protector and they give you two in case you mess it up and it was close too half the price of the onn version and just as good or even better quality.I would recommend and I will buy again if I need to.

I must say, I am a person who loves design for designs sake and hate putting cases and screen protectors on my devices. That said, I am also a pragmatist and know that I abuse my devices. I am a clumsy knuckle head who drops my phone and put my phone in the same pocket as my keys - you know that happens next. As such, Ive learned to put my keys on a carabiner, put a case on my iPhone to protect the against the drops I swear will never happen, and a screen protector because who knows what will happen. Thats why Ive always turned to amFILM for my screen protectors. Ive used them on every phone Ive had for the past 5 years and its been great. I love that they now have guides for the iPhone X. It has lead to perfect applications every time. Thats why I turned to them for my new Nintendo Switch. I thought I knew how to put these screen protectors on but, alas, I left bubbles in both screen protectors that I attempted to put on. I tried to reapply a film after I placed the first one because I saw that dog hair floated underneath the screen protector. I forgot to re-clean the surface so when I went to attach the same screen, it left a bubble where I forgot to clean. I tried again with the second screen provided and I made the same mistake. I was not use to the speed that was necessary to go from removing the protective plastic to dropping the protector in place. With the smaller surface areas on an iPhone you can readjust and not worry as much about rogue dust or dog hair floating on to your pristine screen before dropping the protector. I contacted amFILM and they were gracious enough to send me a new set to make up for my incompetence and gently pointed me to an install video. I followed the video and was able to attach the first screen protector almost perfectly. If you watch the video, you see them drop the screen almost immediately after taking the plastic film off the protector. I say almost perfectly because I accidentally touched the screen with the side of my finger and didnt clean it properly so when the protector went down it bubbled ever so slightly over the oil smudge. I got the air bubble out but there is still oil under the protector. TO BE CLEAR - THIS IS NOT AMFILMS FAULT, THIS IS USER ERROR. I chose not to reapply the second provided protector because the job was perfect except for this little oil smudge and it wasnt worth the possibility of messing it up all over again and I didnt want to send another email to amFILM for another set of protectors to fix MY ERROR. I highly recommend amFILM for your protector needs. Within 24 hours of me griping about my user error during installation they had a helped me out. Great product and great company. Read the directions, watch the install videos, and be patient, my friends.
