This replacement filter is a perfect fit. Finally bought this because my current filter takes a couple of days to dry after cleaning as recommended. Great replacement filters for our Dyson vacuum. The vacuum wasnt picking up as well and there was an odd high pitched sound when turning the vacuum off. After running the vacuum following replacement of both filters, all the dirt and grass being missed before couldnt hide this time! You wouldnt believe how much more was picked up. And that annoying high pitched sound? Its gone too! Who would gave thought new filters could have made such a difference?? This replacement part suffers from the same issue as all the others, the red button is too big and restricts the ball from moving. While trying to swap buttons from the original the plastic on the new filter broke, it is made very cheaply. I had two choices order another or put the melon between my ears to work. GOOD NEWS....the filter can be secured in place by a zip tie, you have to fit it under the support on the motor where the button would secure it, loop it thru the new filter under where the button was....and you are in business. And no worries about the button.

The new filter eliminated those smelly Odors, and also fixed the problem with my Dyson Vac getting stuck when rotating the ball.

Works well. The filtering quality appears equal to OEM filter. You can see slight differences in fit and finish, but good where it counts: the rubber seal, quality of plastic and filter. Those look like a perfect match, and at a much better cost. This will makes a nice replacement, or second filter to be used while your other is drying out from being washed.
