This product came with 3 charging cables to charge 3DS consoles with a USB connection. If you have a 3DS then you probably know that finding a power outlet for the oddly shaped brick charger isnt always easy to do. Thats why this was something I wanted to try, to give me a way to charge my 3DS without having to be near a power outlet. You get the 3 cords individually wrapped in plastic case. Theres a piece of tape that keeps it closed and that was a bit of a pain to get open but I finally did it with the help of a knife to cut through it with. I used one on my New 3DSXL and it charged it just as fast as the wall adapter. I charged my older 3DSXL with a second cable just for this review and it worked just fine. So, it would seem that these cords do what you need them to if youre really wanting a better way to charge your 3DS.

You get what you except. Convenient way to charge your 3DS, 2DS or DS XL. Cable is fairly thin and flexible, thicker than the standard 3DS chargers but thinner than your typical USB cable.

Worked perfect for charging my 3DS. Cables are well made. Came packed really nice in a plastic box.

These work exactly as I expected. All of the cords worked when I tried them. It would be nice if it came with a charging block.

I hooked it up to a phone charger and it charge my 2DSXL lite quickly. They work very well and it is a good alternative to the expensive original charger. However, the 3DS, 2DS, and XL variants are very finicky when it comes to voltage. So, if you hook any phone charger to the cable, it will work, but it might damage your device battery in the long run. So, choose a charger with a 4.5-5 V capacity, which is most of the last-generation chargers.

It’s good when you buy a 3ds

These charge my 3DS / 2DS over USB. Im glad I have them. I can plug the 3DS into my computer to charge there, or any of the USB-A charging blocks we have around the house. It does not do any sort of data transfer. AFAIK, the port they plug into on the 3DS isnt capable of data transmission.

I couldn’t locate the charger for my kids 3DS xl. These cables work, and I have two spares.

These work!!! I cant even describe how happy I am to be able to play Fantasy Life and Yokai Watch 1-3 and Pokemon X/Y and all my other faves again! Our original 3DS charger broke and we were so sad, but these cords work GREAT! Even better than the original! 5 stars

This multi-pack of 3DS chargers is a godsend for people who constantly lose their charging cables on their older devices. The USB power supply is also just a lot more convenient than the original power supplies, which would plug into the household mains outlets. This way you can also send data to and from your 3DS with your computer. The value is great for how many cables youre getting, and theyre just small enough to pack away conveniently in most 3DS cases and covers.
