I bought an Andis clipper to do my grooming at home, and for the first few times used a 10 blade with a plastic guide comb to get a bit longer cut. I was very difficult and took forever because it kept getting clogged with hair and would not cut smoothly. I wish I had gotten this blade from the beginning! The cut is smooth and quick and does not clog. If you want a bit longer cut than the 10 blade, definitely buy another blade instead of trying to use the clip on guide combs.

In the beginning I had a hard time learning how to switch blades, then I looked at the box and its the easiest thing ever. I laughed at myself. These work well, no complaints.

I was thrilled when I found this 4FC blade online. You cant find them in the stores. Best of all, the price was very reasonable for such a quality item. Will definitely purchase future itemds from here.

I tried to return this blade but I waited too long and it can not be returned. I groom my Shih Tzu about every 2-3 months so I have tried to use the blade 3 times since I have bought it. The short blade (#10) is great and cuts well. But in the winter, the dog needs longer hair, thus a longer blade length. This blade did not cut initially but I just decided to work with it. It still does not cut at all and this is only the third time I have tried to use it. Could it be a faulty blade? I hate to write anything less than a positive review but have found no where else to ask the question.

Ive been using Andis clippers for years on my dogs, and wanted to try using these to do a winter clipping that would leave more coat on. Its next to worthless, it wont clip, you have to lightly dig and scoop the hair to get it to cut. Back to the #10 blade, which goes through the hair like a hot knife through butter.

Would not cut for me! Maybe the one with gap teeth would cut better. Idk. Returned it.
