> 24 hourId say give it a few weeks once in the cage. My birds were not interested at first. One day they discovered it, and now its their favorite hangout. Too cute to see them play inside. Made well.

> 24 hourLater learned that you do NOT want to buy any kind of bed or little home for your birds UNLESS you want them to lay eggs. If you do not want a bird to lay eggs ( which can happen with or without a male around and can be dangerous to your birds heath) then do not get products that trigger hormones for breeding. If you want them to have a place to rest their feet get a ledge or a wider swing instead. Other than my lack of understanding of this beforehand, I received my product extremely fast and it was of great quality if you are looking to create a nest or do have experience in breeding.

> 24 hourThe coconut hut itself seems fine, small bits of exposed hot glue that are easy to take off and it’s a good size coconut. But the ladder did not come with it.

> 24 hourI bought this little coconut to expand my bird, Bob’s, living space. I put his favorite treats inside to get him used to it. He will approach it to get some of his favorite treats but he really doesn’t use it to get comfortable or as a retreat. I thought it would be a safe place for him if he got scared. But he doesn’t use it like that. I cannot give it five stars just because Bob doesn’t like it, can I?

> 24 hourThe ladder *did* fall out pretty quickly, but this is the biggest and nicest quality coconut we have recieved from an order. While our rats enjoy climbing and napping in coconuts in general, this one is their absolute favorite and is occasionally squabbled over. This is the only coconut I have that I feel very confident to say that a male rat would be able to fit in.

> 24 hourIt looked like the picture. All our birds liked it. However, one liked it too much. She likes to bite on everything, including the side of the cage. She bit thru the string first which broke the ladder. We had to take it off. Then, she chewed up the string attached to the top of the nest hut that held it on a clip to hook onto the cage. That fell off, so we threw it away. Too bad. It was nice until Blanca chewed it up. Its good for the birds if you dont have one that likes to bite anything soft.
