I got this for my hammy because I want him to have lots of variety for places to hangout. He enjoys this just as much as his igloo and his other little bed. I’m so glad I bought him this because he definitely enjoys it.

Base is cheaply hot glued on. Had to remelt and reattach it. Hampster waste does not clean easily from this product. He does like sleeping in it tho.

I like that the coconut is solid and sturdy but the base was not attached to mine. Overall a good size for my hamster.

I bought this for my Syrian hamster. When he was younger and smaller, I thought hed use it as a place to sleep, but he never did. Like most hamsters, he prefers to dig a hole and sleep under his bedding or in a more hidden area. Instead, I used this as a place to hide treats as a form of enrichment for him. Even though my hamster doesnt use this item for the purpose I intended, its solidly built and looks very nice in my hamsters enclosure. If I gave this to my mice, I think theyd be much more likely to use it as a place to sleep. Its a good size for one Syrian hamster and has enough room for at least two mice to cuddle.

This hideaway is the perfect size for my Syrian hamster. It was peeling slightly in the inner back of the hideaway, but since it is made of natural materials I don’t find this a huge issue. My one problem is that the base is hot glued to the hideaway. The natural materials of the hut is what drew me towards it in the first place, so that was a bit disappointing. That said, the shape of the hut makes it almost impossible for a hamster to gnaw at the hot glued part, and it feels extremely sturdy so I am not worried about it falling off or coming apart. All in all I am glad I bought this!

This is such a cute hideout and is the perfect size for my dwarf hamster!
