Angelus Leather Paint Starter Kit Set of 12 1 Ounce Bottles

First time using leather paint and I like how smoth it is. It was amazing how the texture is not sticky like acrylics. Really easy to use and stays on the shoe really good. Doesnt smear at all and easy to blend aswell. Really recommend it.

We have revamped several pairs of shoes. My elderly mom wanted her second hand orthopedic SAP shoes to have more pizazz, so I painted them metallic purple. My daughter is getting old shoes from thrift stores and giving them a new look. I was skeptical at first, but the paint has good coverage and does seem to stay and we use the finish.

The 12 come in a bit of a flimsy box. They were shipped in a padded envelope but all of the bottles were out of the box. These are glass bottles and THANKFULLY none broke. They arrived in 2 days so I’m very happy with the product. Best DIY paint for leather and wood projects.

I rarely leave reviews, but I was so impressed with this paint. I painted this whole recliner using Angelus Acrylic Leather paint in tan which I bought separately as well as painted the picture using this Acrylic leather paint set. I wiped down the whole recliner with a rag soaked in Angelus Leather Preparer and Deglazer, which smelled like acetone but the smell faded quickly. After that fully dried I painted the whole chair with 3 very thin coats of the tan leather paint, waiting about 12 hours between each coat. Painting the picture was an all day affair of doing a bit at a time with thin coats and then waiting an hour or two for it drying before going over it again. I waited another 12 hours before I sealed the whole thing with 2 coats of Angelus Acrylic Finisher in Matte, again waiting about 12 hours between each coat. There was no tackiness immediately after the finisher dried. The consistency of the paint is much thinner than normal acrylic paint so it is important to do thin coats the prevent dripping. This project is about 2 months old now and there has been no wear so far even with this being my daily reading chair. I get many compliments on it and every one is surprised that it’s painted.

The paints work great (mixed with angelus’s other products, such as their prep and finisher) but the product came open from inside the shipping box with the paint jars falling out.

the pink paint was chunky and looked like someone had used it before. some of the brushes were wonky. i personally dont mind the minor flaws, but its just something to note. rest of the bottles were fine. the paint themselves are good :) the paint themselves are good,
