I had purchased the pre-magsafe version of these years ago for my iPhone XS Max. Apparently, the older versions would not work on an iPhone with magsafe, so when I upgraded my old phone to a 14plus, they no longer worked. These are absolutely identical in every way as far as I can tell, except they actually work with iPhone 12 and later. These are exactly the same in every way as far as I can tell, they just work with the newer phones. I re-used the wall-warts from the old versions. NOTE: you will not get the fastest possible charging from these. To get the fastest charging youll need to buy a magsafe charger from Apple or one of the 3rd party ones. However, I use one of these at home for overnight charging (dont need super fast charging), and the other one sits at my office while Im working. In neither case do I need fast charging.

Simple, elegant, and charges my phone fast. A couple for the nightstands, one in the kitchen, another next to the computer, and now theyre in my office with co-workers eyeing them.

Plug and Play. That’s it. You plug them in and it works. Nice to have the phone displayed and charging at the same time.

This was an item that my son wanted for Christmas.

This is a nice little stand to have next to the computer while I work. I have an iPhone XR in an Otterbox Defender case, and the phone will charge in both landscape and portrait orientation. The only trouble I had with the charger is that it did not come with a 5V wall plug, just a USB cord. The first wall wart I grabbed was only 1 amp, and my phone didn’t charge very fast. When I switched it for a 1.5 amp plug, it charged much faster. That may have been in the fine print somewhere, but I didn’t read any of that. It now charges well enough that I can have the phone sitting on the stand and streaming video and it will still charge faster than what the phone is using.

These chargers work just fine, However... I did buy a different size charging cord. The receptacle is loose and a bigger plug in fits better and lets you charge without having to move the charger around so the internal connections actually connect.
