I purchased this for an older vehicle that had no USB ports. It works well for charging our cell phones.

It charges but not fast charging and even slower with 2 devices plugged in.

If you are on the go and always trying to charge multiple devices, then I would recommend Anker PowerDrive 3. The typical ones only have 2 ports but this one has three ports that give the fastest possible charge up to 7.2 amps or 2.4 amps per port! I was able to charge my iPhone 6 Plus and my iPad Air 2 at the same time and using their quick charge, and fully powered up in under an hour. This port is a lot more compact and smaller than the other ones out on the market.
