This is very well made and works perfectly. Unlike the cheap ones, it stays put and never disconnects until you unplug it! It was more expensive than some but totally worth the cost.

Charges my Samsung s3. but it has trouble keeping up with when GPS is on and music is playing on the phone. but the phone is 3 years old

I have a problem with it, the blue light is always own, I thought from questions answered, it only came on when a device was plugged in. Now I wonder if it really is off when there is no device plugged in. Does anyone know? The blue light is less obtrusive than some such devices, but still is a bit of a distraction at night. I dont like a light shining in my face at night, I need the dash lighting very low at night, so the blue dot is about the brightest thing on the dash at night.
