> 24 hourThe Anker, chargers work great, but they’re shaped a way that falls out of every socket, especially the sockets under an airplane seat.

> 24 hourUpdate 3/2023: This is my go-to charger. Sized well enough it does not fall out of outlets on most airplanes and still enough energy and ports to do about 90% of what I need to do on the go. It’s also come down in price (around 30$ now) which I feel is the sweet spot for the capability. Now that I can get it in white colorway…I might have to grab another. Original Review 2023-01: The Anker Nano 3 (523) worked great for anything I threw at it, and probably looks the best doing it too. Charging - It worked well on charging everything (PPS, PD, etc.). It charged my S22 Ultra at ~35w PPS , my MacBook Air at ~45w, my iPhone and my S22 at 20w each when dual connected, Im doing some more testing, but seemed to be cooler than my other chargers while doing so. Design - Anker has finally improved their aesthetics with the 523 Nano 3! The charger is a nice dark gray and the branding text almost looks ghosted on. The ports are legible and well contrasted. The folding prongs are welcomed and work well. I had no issues with it staying in any outlets unlike the larger 65w+ units. It also fits well with anything else in the other port on an outlet (see photos). The USB ports on the back are typical Anker quality and all my USB-C plugs went in and stayed in. Also need to mention no LED’s on here or any illumination at all which I am ok with. Durability - It feels solid and well made, prongs, ports, and paint. Time will tell how long it stays scratch-free for with this new design, but like always I will come back and update if it get excessively worn etc. Value - This was around 40$ price point at time of purchase which is about 25% higher than other competitors in this range. I would have waited for a sale but was eager to see how it compared to my other units. If you are reading this wondering why 45w over something larger - the 45w is “just right” for many modern laptops and tablets charging. With the (2) ports it can also swiftly charge a couple phones, or phones and headphones. It’s best because its size permits it not take up as much space in the bag as larger units AND fit in tricky wall outlets with no problem. In summary I like the Anker 45w and it will be going on planes very soon for some more testing as it becomes the go-to charger for me. I hope this review helps you, if not please ask some questions so we can get you answers. Thanks for reading my review! Chris EDIT: Added a few more photos to compare other sizes of Anker chargers to the 523 both “in outlet” and side by side.

> 24 hourDoes as advertised, charges two devices at once around 20w each. I posted a photo of this charger next to Ankers 30w foldable version and as you can see it’s substantially larger. That being said, it charges 2 devices and only takes up one outlet spot. It also has no issues staying in a standard wall socket and does not feel loose there due to size/weight like some of the larger wattage gan chargers Anker offers. Overall I’m happy with it but I’m looking forward to an even smaller and lighter travel friendly version in the future. Until then I will be keeping the 30w foldable version in my travel bag because of how small and light it is which is key when using the outlets on planes. I have not tested this 47w version there yet but I feel like it may have issues staying secure there due to its size/weight. I will update this review after my next flight and speak on this subject. If it holds firm I’ll give it a 5th star.
