What can I say? It does the job. Cable is nice and strong, and would definitely allow for side-by-side use. Also, I have to say, its a very tight, snug fit once the cable is plugged in. I mean, I have to give the think a good yank to get it out. Some might see this as a drawback, but as someone whos had plenty of cables pull out too easily I actually think this is a benefit (so long as the whole computer doesnt get pulled with it...)
