Only the front is hard shell thats not that hard. The case itself is a soft case with a semi hard front. Everything fits very loosely inside and will slam into each other. Not bad for the money, but dont expect it to protect much.

Everything fits really well. I have the head strap with the extra battery and it fits great. Controllers, extra batteries, cables and charging brick all fit.

Fit perfectly and very good quality

The detachable strap is only detachable at one end. I was hoping to remove it entirely because I dont plan on parading down the street with my toys slung over my shoulder, just wanted to store on the shelf in a protective case. The case is only hard shell on the top. The remaining sides are padded soft shell. It was barely able to fit the Kiwi head strap after I ratcheted the Kiwi down to its smallest size. This may be useful for others, but not for me. Returning it.

I was looking for a case that fit the halo head strap and wasnt so bulky that I couldnt put it in my flight carryon when traveling. The quest 2 with halo head strap fits in the bag and there is padding on all sides to give a layer of protection. Top side is hard, but sides and back are not. For me this isnt an issue because I want some flexibility to put it in a carryon that I stash under the seat on flights. It does fit in that bag and Ill have to see how it works on the flight as far as leg room. 2 things I wish were different is to have the padded strap be removable when not needing to wear it like a backpack and the strap could be used to pad the space in the middle of the stashed head strap where you put the controllers. There is extra space in that middle section do definitely use lens protectors and possibly stash other things there so they dont move around.

Originally purchased a cheap $30 case. Oculus didnt fit in it when i upgraded to elite strap. After a little digging I found this, and should have purchased this to begin with. great product

Its a gift for my girl friend and she loves it. Good looking in person Im considering get one for myself now.
