Exactly what I was expecting. I use it to make travel bags, and buying it in a larger quantity makes it more reasonable.

I make bags and pouches so this product is a must have. Do not bother to substitute other brands or headliners for this product. They do not hold up or have the body for the bags. Using additional basting lines compresses the foam making it usable in seam allowances.

This is a lightweight interfacing that really helps sewing multiple layers together without breaking needles. I make a lot of different purses and large totes, and this has made my job so much easier. It also has the added benefit of being so lightweight that it does not add to the weight of the product that canvas or some heavy interfacing does. It does produce a slightly puffier quilted surface than regular interfacing, and the thread does need to be reinforced at the beginning and end of the stitch line due to the springy nature of the Soft and Stable. It is pricey, but when you go to all the trouble to make beautiful and complex products, it is well worth the cost.
