I am using the acrylic sheets for photography as a reflective surface. The 2pack 12x16 sheets come with a protective foil on all sides and that cover was not damaged. It sticks to the acrylic and once removed it rolls up and cannot be reattached for protection of the surface. For photographic purposes the acrylic sheet does its job a 100% with a perfect reflection. The surface scratches easily, therefore it needs to be handled carefully -- I cannot confirm the high-scratch resistance claim, but that might be meant as resistance against harder scratches which I do not test because I do not want to ruin the so far shiny surface more than necessary. The acrylic is opaque, meaning not translucent, no light gets through. For my purposes in photography this product does exactly what I wanted -- a 100% scratch resistance would be perfect, however, I havent had 100% those so far among all the acrylic sheets I used in the past and maybe I come across the perfect one some time.

I don’t often need acrylic 1/2” thick, but this is a great option for the rare cases where I do. Nice to be able to order a 1 square foot piece instead of having to cut from a larger sheet. Tough and durable, exceptionally clear. Great hobby material.

I got this to make a base plate for my router sled. It worked perfectly. Nice and clear and sturdy.

These sheets are great for what I got them for (product photography). They come well packaged and did not have any scratches. My only complaint is that the protective paper that covers these is ridiculously challenging to remove. Once its off, everything is fine.

I guess Ive been a maker years longer than theyve called makers makers. I use thin acrylic sheets for my engraving projects. This nice thick piece will go to something structural. Things I like: - Its cast vs. extruded acrylic which makes it easier to machine - A full 1/2 inch thick, more than double the thickness of the rest of my stock

I love when you come across a great company, providing great products, and not charging an arm and a leg for them. Thats exactly what you have here. No matter what kind of project youre working on, Im sure these guys have what you need. Like this 1foot square piece of plexi-glass. You can see the quality immediately, without even removing the protective film from the sides. This piece of plexi-glass is thick enough you can see the clarity and precision cut lines just from looking at the sides. This square was perfect for the shadow box/display box Im working on to show off a few of the nicer crystals Ive found while crystal hunting with friends. Ill update this review with pictures once its completed. The best part of plexi-glass is its durability. Its nice to know you dont have to worry about it breaking. In the event it ever gets scratched up or damaged, you can just sand out the imperfections or scratches with a 3 step sanding process and buff it back to its original beauty. For projects that pass the tests of time. I highly recommend the product, the company, and all their other high quality products. I forgot to mention, this plexi-glass is customizable, and can be cut and altered at home to fit your needs but I always found the factory precision cuts to look better so I build around the size I have, or order the exact size I need. Way less work too.

I have always dabbled in any/every kind of craft/hobby that I can get my hands on. One of my latest ventures was buying a laser engraver. I got this 1/2 plexiglass sheet not knowing what I was going to do with it, but have already started having fun experimenting with it. It arrived cut perfectly on every edge with no chips/cracks. Even the protective contact paper was in perfect condition on both sides. I have already tried engraving a couple logos on the edges/corners to tweak the settings on my laser engraver and I have actually had amazing results (not to mention, I have a very cheap/budget friendly laser engraver that I got off of Amazon). I may end up making some engraved/LED coasters or maybe coasters that are half wood, half plexiglass. I would highly recommend this plexiglass. I was always blown away by the prices of plexiglass that was way thinner than 1/2 at various hardware stores. Getting a 12x12x1/2 sheet of high quality plexiglass at about $20 is a steal!

Cast acrylic panels of this thickness are typically rather expensive so this 0.5” thick sheet provides good value. The sheet was in perfect condition with protective paper on both sides and was packed in a bubble wrap sleeve inside an Amazon box. There were no flaws observed on the sheet nor any cracks or other edge defects on the panel. The sheet I received was exactly 0.5” thick and just slightly under 12” on the side, measuring about 11.94”. All edges were clean and sharp and the optical clarity was high. Half-inch thick acrylic sheets can provide good structural rigidity and strength along with the other advantages of the more typical 1/8 and ¼” sheets. This sheet is very good and I believe it is a good choice at the price.
