Aobelieve Flexible Twist Mount and Weatherproof Camera Cover for Blink Outdoor (3rd Gen), Black

I picked this particular product because it was the only one I found that had this type of mount and the water resistant housing. All the fittings and the quality is top notch. However, with this type of housing it deletes the OEM back cover which is potted. (Waterproof seal) the housing snaps together and isnt potted, so Im a little wary of how this could effect the camera in the future. Its been over a month and no issues though. What I love about this is how it looks. Its so clean looking and so stealthy. Its such a cool alternative to a regular mount. It was so easy to conform to the railing and then just loop a zip tie at the bottom.

I placed my camera hanging from my patio lattice. It simply and easily curls into place. Doesn’t slide, move or fall at all! Great invention.

There is not much to say except the flexible twist has good stiffness and works to hold the camera. I use it to move the camera to different locations quickly.

Now I feel like my camera is secure! The camera fits perfectly into the housing and then there’s 4 little screws to hold it together. The twisty part then screws into the back of that and that’s it. Now just twist it on where you like. There’s a hole at the end of the twisty part, I’m assuming it’s for a screw to hold it in position from sliding down if on a rail or the wind spinning it around which I highly doubt. It’s really secure. I have mine wrapped on my deck. I wish I could get this exact same one for my xt2. With that being said, please note that this isn’t made for the xt2 however I was able to make it work. The xt2’s front is more bowed.

I bought this to wrap my outdoor camera around my gutter’s water drain. It works pretty well. Hasn’t fallen yet. I did use one of the zip ties to tighten it more because it’s wrapped around a wide tube. It is a bit tricky to angle how you want, but mine’s been up for a month and hasn’t shifted!
