The variety of slots and directions works great for a variety of different plugs. I was able to free up the number of electrical outlets used since I was able to switch some to USB.

Now I can use all my electrical appliances without a drop cord. I can even charge my phone while putting make up on or styling my hair. Love it.

Good quality surge protector. Fits great under desk with 3M double-sided tape. Everything arrived as described. Just, in general, be careful not to overload it, read the specs and it should work fine.

No problems, no defects, room so you can plug different size adapters. USB works great!

Worked great for 8 months and then both USB ports stopped working. This seems to be a common problem judging by the amount of other reviews mentioning the USB ports failing.

Its hard to review a surge protector without having had a cooperative bolt of lightning to help test for actual protection. But APC tends to make quality products and Im going to assume that the circuitry here will do its job. What I CAN comment on is how nicely this unit is designed. Theres room to plug in 11 devices, and 6 of the inputs are designed to accommodate those annoying black brick plugs that usually steal an extra slot or two with their size. The 2 protected USB ports are a nice touch, and I was pleasantly surprised that the *thick* electrical cord is attached to the unit with a swiveling connection which makes the surge protector easier to position under a desk or near a wall. All in all, a good product that shows evidence of smart design!

I bought the 11 outlet mode, and have not had problems with this yet. The plugs all fit nicely into the sockets and are held securely. The USB charging ports are a nice addition as well.
