Product 100% recommended, works, finally the water is clean and smells good, this is a miracle. Before I had to clean the pond weekly because there are 4 turtles, now I do it every 20-25 days, and the water is always transparent.

Does help keep the tank clean and helps keep the filter running better. Once a week is the way to go.

Axolotls are pretty interesting, but MESSY pets. I only have one in a 50 gallon tank, but his solid waste is like that of turtles and other amphibians (it doesnt readily dissolve or break up the same way that fish waste does). I have used other products, but they leave the water in my tank cloudy and murky and dont keep the tank as clean. This helps keep my tank cleaner, so I can go a little longer in between water changes. The water also isnt murky!

in a 55 gallon tank for 2 big turtles, this makes life so much easier. I use weekly and most of time the water look clear enough to drink. fluval 407 needs changing maybe 4-6 times a years thanks to this.
