Appion MH120006EAK 1/2 Diameter Hose, 3/8 FL to 1/4 FL Vacuum Certified Refrigerant Hose, 6, Black

I was surprised at how stiff and huge this 3/8 hose is. I’m told you should use large diameter vacuum hoses because the work better than 1/4” hoses. Well the 3/8” worked as good as could be expected but When I used two 1/4” hoses they performed very well too, close to the same performance when pulling a deep vacuum. If I has to do it over I’d just use the two quality 1/4” hoses and save my money.

It came without gaskets in the hoses .. can not use

Hose has leaked since day one. Tried using o-rings on the 3/8th and that worked a few times, but now its leaking from somewhere else. Ill stick with TruBlu from now on. I suggest you do the same. Appions valve removers are the best I can find, but when a good vacuum is critical, this hose aint it.

Honestly I’m upset I haven’t used these sooner, paired with a core tool they pull vacuum quick and efficient.

Great product for hvac. Especially when working on larger systems. Use with their Schrader core removal tool and youll be surprised how fast systems pull down to 500 microns.

A well made hose that makes pulling vacuum much faster, allows achieving a lower vacuum and prevents overheating of the vacuum pump.

Greatly reduces the time to pull a vacuum!
