Good purchase. Good value for the money.

I bought this product like a month ago and usbc charging cable has already stopped working. It is very disappointing that with such a good product , such sub standard accessories are given.

The first mac that was delivered to me was faulty out the box. It would shut off at around 63% and the battery percentage would jump around. I thought it was just bad luck and so I exchanged it for another one and the one Im using now runs fine. This is a good laptop if youre a college student because its lightweight and the charger isnt a 10kg brick like some other laptops have. It easy to carry and can last you the whole day. ive always used PC laptops but I decided to give this mac a try because of how lightweight it is. Some basic pros and cons of this laptop are:

Didnt even use it for 2 weeks when the screen began blacking out while it was still running.

Bought one of the 13 inch 256 GB MacBook Pros from Best Buy and the next day when I was setting it all up, it shut down around 78% battery. Reset the SMC and it still happened after that. Exchanged it for another new one the next day and the same thing happened. Spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Apple and al they could think of was resetting the SMC so we did that and then it shut off again while they were on the phone. So, back to Best Buy I went. At that point I just decided to return it because I don’t trust the MacBook Pro anymore. Nobody at Best Buy or the Apple representative admitted that they’ve had this issue with anyone else, but I don’t believe them because another reviewer on here had the same issue two times in a row and so did a lot of others on different forums. I’ve been an Apple girl for the last 10 years and have never had this kind of issue, but two in a row seems like it’s a rampant issue. Now I don’t know what to do. Maybe I’ll try the MacBook Air. *sigh* It’s such a pretty computer and I love the touchbar though.

My new MacBook Pro is unbelievably fast. Ive had a MacBook Air thats now 10 years old, so I was expecting my MacBook Pro to be quite heavy. I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be almost as portable as my MB Air. I love the screen, too.
