I treated myself to this when embracing the “replace a laptop” movement. It works great, looks great, feels great, battery lasts well (turn down the brightness in iPad general settings when you don’t need it), and I make very good and regular use of it. The iPad in my case has now replaced home laptop (granted, I’m not a heavy user). Job done and I’m very pleased. Apple make quality products.

Works well, sort of. Kills the battery fast, sometimes doesnt charge through the port, and overall might have an issue saying its unsupported which is false

I will say at the time of purchase I got it at $100 off. That is the reason I decided to invest in this. This hands downs have a great trackpad fee to it and accurate. Keys took some time to get use to but overall amazing item. Thank you Apple.

This is an excellent piece of equipment, easy to use and put together. A bit on the expensive side on the whole but has so far been very reliable and does the job well !

I didn’t have a problem with the Smart Keyboard until I got the Magic keyboard and realized how much better the typing experience is. It’s very expensive, and I’m not sure it’s worth the value. I’m keeping it because I enjoy typing on it, but really had to think hard if it was worth $300.

I really wanted to keep it but I didn’t because it’s heavy and doesn’t provide a good position to use the Apple Pencil. Also I wish I could use the Apple Pencil on the trackpad. Very disappointed.

It’s a great keyboard, but I could have bought a really good keyboard for like a quarter of the price. The reason this is more expensive, is because it has the trackpad, and to me, that hasn’t been worth the upmark in price. I would return it, but I live in a remote area, and the hassle of buying a new one is too great.
