Makes it feel 90% like my MacBook. Three finger gestures on the trackpad save so much time. If you use it in bed it can be easily set next to you and it doesn’t move around. It’s much better than I thought it would be. I love my iPad now.

I’ve used a couple generic and branded keyboards with my iPad 7th generation. I recently upgraded to the iPad Air 4 and knew I wanted a keyboard. The cheaper Apple keyboard doesn’t have a backlit keyboard so I knew I didn’t want that one. I had that one in the past but found myself struggling in dimly lit rooms to type accurately. I then switched to a generic keyboard that was backlit. The keys were much nicer now that I could see them but the experience was mixed. Connection wasn’t always immediate, the angle was poor and it put the iPad too far away. This Magic Keyboard is the answer to my search for the ideal keyboard. It ids the highest quality - keys are amazing, backight is consistent with no spots that are brighter than others, immediate connection, trackpad is useful and it brings the iPad closer since it hovers over the keyboard slightly and is raised in the air. I would pay $299 for this again! I think no one should own an iPad Air or iPad Pro without this keyboard. I say the same thing about iPhone users should all own an Apple Watch. It is so useful after you have it you wouldn’t want to be without it.

Worth getting the 12.9 screen IMO.

Item does not work…it was a gift and it is now passed the return window. Bluetooth doesn’t connect to tablet. Several it friends can also not get it to connect. Please help get me a refund

Wonderful keyboard! The charging port actually charges the iPad. There is no battery in the keyboard, as it uses the power from the iPad.

Works great

I love my iPad but it’s a whole new love since I got the magic keyboard. The iPad ‘sticks’ in place with no effort. While it’s attached to the keyboard you can charge both units at once. You can leave the iPad attached and you don’t need an iPad cover. Keys type smoothly and quietly and the trackpad is a good size and works great.
