> 3 dayPleasantly surprised at how well it works, same goes for all Aqara products. They stay connected to the hub and work when you need them too.

06-06-2025This is an overall decent device. Easy to use, and can be connected to a DIY Zigbee network and integrated into Home Assistant very easily. It is annoying that the bulk is vertical not horizontal thus you can only use one in an outlet, but that is minor. The real problem with this plug which in my opinion makes it completely useless is that it does not remember its previous state after power loss! I bought three of these to monitor power usage on my office PC, as well as components in my network rack. It was working well until a typical Florida Flicker where the power went out for a few seconds. All three of these plugs stayed off after power was restored until I physically went to each one and pressed the button to turn them on again. Thinking this might be one of those devices where you just need to use the app to affect this setting, I removed one of them from my zigbee network and paired it with an Aqara hub and added it to the Aqara Home app. Went into settings, and nope, no option for power on state or power on memory at all.

> 3 dayThis plug is considerably more expensive than other plugs. But it integrates flawlessly with my Aqara Motion sensor. It replaces another all-in-one motion sensor I used for my hall table lamp. The old one failed, so I decided to try this plug-in switch. I love that I can program at both times of operation and light levels so that the lamp doesnt light up all day or whenever a cat walks by. Its worth the extra money for its ease of use. Of course, you need an Aqara Hub, which I already have. Aqara could add an electricity use monitor that other plug-in switches have for half the price. This is the way to go if you have the Hub and sensors and want easy control of your devices.

> 3 dayI use this to automate my washing machine (knowing when it is finished) and the power monitoring is consistent and reliable. Havent had any zigbee connection issues either despite being put behind the washer and dryer right next to a wall.

> 3 dayThis is my 2nd Aqara plug. They work quite well, and require a hub for all that intelligent lazy voice control. I can’t speak for the Alexa or google integration, as I use HomeKit, but it works flawlessly with HomeKit. This one is controlling 3 humidifiers in my bedroom. Syncs up easily with the hub. I have the hub on the opposite end of the house on a different floor, and it still maintains a strong zigbee connection. Responds well, very short delay between voice command and response. Only wish they were a bit smaller, so I could have two in one outlet.

04-06-2025Installs and works well - just blocks an entire socket if you have to use the upper on of the pair :(

> 3 dayWorks great with Home Assistant (Though actually I use OpenHAB) and its 100% reliable. Takes a few (or more...) tries to pair it but eventually works. Sealed it with silicone caulk and its great outdoors.
