This item has a very bad neoprene odor. Ive left it in the open since receipt hoping that the odor would go away; unfortunately it has not. Im very concerned about putting this in luggage with my clothes. I will be returning it.

This does what it is supposed to. It seems like curling iron always last thing to pack and it is always hot. Packed curling iron in this and no more concerns about it burning the bag.
