This is a very well built sponge filter! It has a built-in tube that connects to itself through the pieces that run all the way down to the very bottom, then disperses the air from there. With this design, there is no need to customize your sponge filter, its already all done for you! The sponge is very breathable and high quality, the base has good weight to it to keep it down at the bottom of your tank. All-in-all, I would highly recommend this sponge filter to anyone who needs one! Great job on this one!

Love them have them in all my tanks 40 gallons and up. They all r crystal clear

For a 10-20 gallon filter, these are a bit large. Theyre the size of a babys head. They would take up quite a bit of real estate in a smaller tank. Theres nothing wrong with them, they appear to be completely normal sponge filters, just huge. I have to wonder if this size is actually intended for a much larger tank size.
