These are a very good (and much more affordable) replacement for the foam filters in my Fluval FX6 water filter. Thanks!

This is the right size but the foam has beed treated/ has chemicals in it that remain after 3 days and 4 changes of water. It is soaking in my bathtub and my hand smells of chlorine/chemicals after touching the water to drain. I verified the rest of my water does not have that smell. Definitely not ready for use out of the box.

I found these to be of very similar quality to the big name brand kind but a lot less.. I find it works the same and Im glad I purchased it for fx6.

material not as sturdy as original provided with Fuval FX4. quantity provided allows for replacements sooner.

Great for the price

I love my FX6, But DAMN! OEM Fluval media is OUTRAGEOUS. Buying these at Petsmart , you get TWO for $17. So thats $51 PLUS TAX and you still only got HALF of what this deal does. What do you get? 2 full sets of replacement media pads for only $25!?! Thats 75%less than the box store.

Perfect fit

Fits like a glove. Cheaper than the store and nice to have extras. I use them for my pond filter.
