Works as advertised. I would get the higher GPD next time.

This membrane did not even last a month before failing. Takes about 3 hours to make 1 gallon of water. Only made 1 gallon of water per hour directly from the box so 25gpd at best.

When my older unit was reading 50 ppm tds I switched it out for this one and the tds dropped to under 20ppm.

No brainer. Came on time and have no issue installing it. Product works as it should.

This worked perfectly to upgrade my RO Buddie from 50GPD to 100GPD. My only issue was the seal was attached about two inches from where the OEM seal was situated. I removed the tape, slid the seal up, put the tape back on. I’m not certain this is required but did it anyways. If the filters are going to be shipped out like this, maybe the filter photo could be updated to reflect the placement.

RO Buddie & Classic Models

This membrane fits standard residential reverse osmosis units, including the RO Buddie and Aquatic Life Classic 100 GPD RO/DI unit. Use two of the 100 GPD Membranes in the Aquatic Life 200 GPD Hydroponics RO unit.

Industry Standard Membrane Sizes

The 50 GPD Membrane is an industry standard 1812-50 size and the 100 GPD Membrane is a 2012-100 size. Both sizes are rated for ideal pressure of 65 PSI and water temperature at 77°F.

Up to 98% TDS Reduction

With up to 98% reduction in the supply water TDS, these membranes provide quality filtered water. In applications where zero TDS is desired, you will use less DI mixed-bed resin because the membrane will be removing more of the TDS.

Operating Temperature

The membranes will work with water temperatures between 50 and 100 °F. Supply water below 77°F will produce less filtered water while temperatures above 77°F will produce more filtered water.

Operating Pressure

The membranes will work with water pressure between 40 and 100 PSI. Supply water pressure below 65 PSI will produce less filtered water. Supply water pressure above 65 PSI will produce more filtered water.

Total Dissolved Solids Reduction

The RO membrane reduces impurities known as total dissolved solids (TDS) from the water

down to 1/10,000 of a micron.
