> 3 dayI ended up sending it back. It wasnt meant for what I needed it for. I works good if youre not moving. Its a little loud and started to feel heavy after not too long. But if youre standing or sitting or going for a slow walk, its perfect-ish

> 3 daySeveral years ago I had been given an Arctic Air fan. Loved it! This latest fan - they have really changed it. It is slightly smaller in length. So the air doesnt reach my face really - just my neck. I needed it for my face. The somewhat-rigid rubber in the middle is not as flexible so Im afraid Im going to break the casing trying to widen it a bit. The noise is horrible. I need the thing on medium or high and it is just too loud to use. I will only use this on rare occasion because it cant do safely and conveniently what the original product could do. I no longer feel comfortable using it at a play or theater because it is so loud. Plus, if I kept it high enough, then I wouldnt hear anything around me.

> 3 dayThe first one I bought for my husband but returned because he didnt like anything around his neck. If the charge dont last long enough carry a power bank in your pocket. I just ordered another one but this time for me the other one was from a store. If it still works good I will post again good or bad

> 3 dayBought this to work outside in Dallas in 102 degree temperatures. It works but the air coming out is not refridgerated. Mostly it keeps air moving around your head. They are noisy as well. Sounds like you are wearing a white noise device.

> 3 dayIt is easy to use. It cools air a little- maybe a few degrees. I tested it with an infrared thermometer. The air coming out was about 72 degrees when the ambient air was 74 degrees in the house. I did not test outside yet, but I expect about the same differential. It does make you feel cooler since air is blowing on your face but it is a little noisy for the same reason My wife likes it to cool down after a work out while she is doing other things. It is much more convenient than a hand held fan but probably works about the same - although I have not tested one of those with a temperate gun. I have also not compared it to the ones which are 10x the price , which I believe have have thermocouples in them to provide the cooling

06-06-2025Saw my hair stylist working with one around her neck and went right over to Wal-Mart to get one after. When Hurricane Ian was inbound, ordered extra for each member of the family to ease the pain of no electric. Thankfully we never needed them. As for everyday use, these are quite powerful. I use them on weekends when doing yard work. In the heat, they provide great comfort. I feel that they help me to extend my work time outdoors, providing a cooling blast of air onto your neck and face. I normally start on the lowest setting, and eventually move to the medium setting as the charge begins to run down. When fully charged, they will last a good 4 hours plus on low or medium settings. I never use on high because its too much air! A definite game changer for me, as I do a lot of work on weekends maintaining the landscaping, as well as occasional pressure washing and cleaning. Do not doubt the size or the power of this Arctic Air Personal Air Cooler; it blows! (Lots of cold air)
