> 3 dayReplaced old IC diamond paste with this stuff on CPU and GPUs and some Arctic thermal pads on the GPU VRAM and other chips. GPUs are averaging 20c cooler, and the CPU is 15c cooler.

> 3 dayI got a new CPU and I always want to make sure I apply thermal paste! The item is easy to dispense onto the chip and you really only have to apply a bit and you still have ample amount when you need to replace it. Alcohol swabs works well if you need to clean off any old remnants of thermal paste.

> 3 dayMX-4 should be the standard for which all other thermal compounds should be judged. In my opinion, its the gold standard. I know there are other formulas out there, even the liquid metal, but I just dont trust the liquid metal since it is electrically conductive and may pose a risk if you apply too much.

> 3 dayI have a XFX R9 270X graphics card that had a fan dying. My idling temp was around 45C, with full load pushing the card up to 85C. I ordered the MX-4 to re-apply the thermal paste since I had to pull the heat sink anyway. With the MX-4 applied, and the new fan, Im now idling at 35C with full load not being able to push beyond 75C (this card just runs a bit hot). Very satisfied with the difference in temperatures.
