> 3 dayThe thermal compound that came with the CPU only cooled to around 165 degrees. Our CPU cooler broke and we bought an exact replacement. Using this compound with the same model replacement CPU Cooler keeps the CPU at a cool 145 degrees.

> 3 dayit performed poorly at first, my measurement shows up to 9°C higher than ambient temp at Idle but the online manual says it takes a while around 2 weeks for the paste to reach its optimum performance... so I took that into consideration and made some tests sometime after that, now it shows only 4-6°C higher than ambient temp at idle. Both temps were measured with ASUS AI Suite 3. CPU cooler: Cooler master Seidon single radiator, Radiator fan: noctua NFF12 @1500RPM

> 3 dayI work for a computer repair shop. We use a lot of thermal paste. When were doing a permanent installation of a CPU, my techs ask for the good stuff. AKA, this. We have a handful of other brands we keep around when were installing CPUs for diagnostics or in shop use, but when it comes to sending it out into the big blue yonder in a customers hands, we use Arctic Silver. Weve seen first hand that it is more effective at initial application, and it lasts longer before needing to be reapplied. Highly recommend. [I know this review is glowing, but its not sponsored at all; I just happened to be ordering another tube and felt like using words.]
