Greater than one weekThis is the Arudino to get if you want it to be able to act like a keyboard/mouse/joystick when plugged up to a computer. I was able to create software to read joystick style controls, then send out iCade keyboard sequences to an iPad. The standard Arduinos do not have USB host support, so their USB port is only a serial port. The Leonardo can be toggled in software so the USB port can appear as a keyboard to the PC/Mac.

> 3 dayThis is the first authentic Arduino Ive bought and Im glad I did. Copies are adequate but pin labels, silk screen, etc. are much nicer on the Italian board. I especially like the plastic half shell. Very small difference in price. Amazon orders direct from Arduino.

He has assured me that it is an authentic board - as I had some concern regarding knock-offs and fakes due to other customer feedback.

The first time I ordered from this listing I ended up with a fake arduino with discolored screen printing and bad components that died within a few days. The second time I ordered from this listing I ended up with a good Arduino Leonardo that has been working very well since I received it.

16-04-2025Never connected through the USB. It did teach me to make sure an item is functioning properly before the return window expires. I ended up purchasing the IEIK Leonardo through Amazon and it works great. Also its less expensive.
