> 3 dayAs some others have mentioned, the product that was shipped to me was a counterfeit Arduino Uno R3. I sent Arduino Support pictures of the board that was sent to me, and they confirmed that it was indeed a counterfeit. Giveaways were the printing on the board was a different font than standard Arduino (look at pictures on their website), exposed solder pad on back of board, and a different PTC fuse on the front (green instead of gold). This was a very convincing fake, however, as the leds were the correct color, the screen printing was good, and the soldering was good. It did have Made in Italy contrary to the belief that simply having that statement made it genuine.

> 3 dayGiven the price its a little hard to believe its the genuine article and one of two failed out of box. OTOH the vendor cheerfully refunded my money for the bad one. Happily the Uno is standardized so if it works,its fine.
