Works as advertised. Completed my ping pong ball howitzer project with the UNO and a stepper motor. Also tried the Leonardo. Cant see any big difference for my projects but recommend both.

This is not a genuine board! This board uses the ATmega16U2 chip set and will not work with applications like Simhub. The chip set is outdated, took almost 2 weeks to ship and it wont work for most modern day projects. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

Nach schneller Lieferung durch den Shop - auspacken, IDE von www. Arduino.org downloaden und erstes Programm laden und starten und eine LED blinkt. Das ist das Hallo World der Steuerungstechnik.

Product is genuine Arduino, was the latest model when purchased. Its a good deal but pretty much everywhere sells for the same price, I only purchased here because of Prime.

Great device. I bought 3 of these and they are my go-to controller for some pretty sophisticated DIY projects. Do read about how not to over-drive the pins (demanding too much current from them). And, DO read about the difference in the +5v and Vin pins. There is a company that sells just the processor chip. They are reasonable (pkg 3) and I recommend having them on hand in case Murphy stops by for a visit. If you follow basic principles and NEVER try connecting a pin to something for trial & error but instead, be certain of the voltage AND current potential that you are supplying (or demanding), and this beautiful device will work like a horse. When it comes to your connection to the computer, some Windows serial portage issues arise but its a matter of persistence. The Arduino IDE (programmer) has ways to let you see how things are going and which PORTs are connected and working. This is the only part that can be frustrating (other than writing software bugs. :-) Enjoy.. heres what I think about it and how I use it this week:

perfect, perfect for fans and not so fans of electronic wizardry, need to know programming, but it is easy to learn with her. Very good and easy to use.

ABOUT ARDUINO

Arduino is the world’s leading open-source hardware and software ecosystem. The Company offers a range of software tools, hardware platforms and documentation enabling almost anybody to be creative with technology.

Originally started as a research project by Massimo Banzi, David Cuartielles, Tom Igoe, Gianluca Martino, and David Mellis at the Interaction Design Institute of Ivrea in the early 2000s, it builds upon the Processing project, a language for learning how to code within the context of the visual arts developed by Casey Reas and Ben Fry as well as a thesis project by Hernando Barragan about the Wiring board.

WHY ARDUINO?

Why1Why1

Why2Why2

Why3Why3

Why4Why4

Inexpensive

Arduino boards are relatively inexpensive compared to other microcontroller platforms. The least expensive version of the Arduino module can be assembled by hand, and even the pre-assembled Arduino modules cost not so high.

Simple, clear programming environment

The Arduino Software (IDE) is easy-to-use for beginners, yet flexible enough for advanced users to take advantage of as well. For teachers, it"s conveniently based on the Processing programming environment, so students learning to program in that environment will be familiar with how the Arduino IDE works.

Open source and extensible software

The Arduino software is published as open source tools, available for extension by experienced programmers. The language can be expanded through C++ libraries, and people wanting to understand the technical details can make the leap from Arduino to the AVR C programming language on which it"s based. Similarly, you can add AVR-C code directly into your Arduino programs if you want to.

Open source and extensible hardware

The plans of the Arduino boards are published under a Creative Commons license, so experienced circuit designers can make their own version of the module, extending it and improving it. Even relatively inexperienced users can build the breadboard version of the module in order to understand how it works and save money.

Message from Massimo Banzi - co-founder

“The Arduino philosophy is based on making designs rather than talking about them. It is a constant search for faster and more powerful ways to build better prototypes. We have explored many prototyping techniques and developed ways of thinking with our hands.”
