Ive been using this for a few months now, and its fantastic. I actually epoxied some magnets on the back to hold it to the lid of the tool box on my truck, and I couldnt be any happier. Sadly though, I found that 80 socket clips werent enough, but I was able to rearrange and get more on there, so Im more than happy with this product, and couldnt recommend it enough!

UPDATED 9/16/20: I purchased the 80 piece on Dec 9, 2018 and I have been very happy with it since. Now I need a second one for additional socket pieces and a hex 3/8 drive set and so I bought another one just on 4/28/20. I have these for 21 months. No issues with it in any way so far. I am probably an average user as I have the socket holder in my bench drawer and only need to take it out of the drawer to work elsewhere maybe once per week at most. I gave durability a 4 only because I have not used it very long enough to verify “durability”. I would not call it durable if it hadn’t lasted at least 3-4 years with my use. I also gave the lock feature a 4 instead of 5 because I think they can do better. But again, so far so good. I had to swap out almost all of the ½” and ¼” clips with 3/8” since that is what I use. CLIPS: Speaking of which, that is my big gripe. It takes nothing to put the clips on. We should be able to choose 4 sets of any size we like. How hard is that??? Thankfully some of the other manufacturers clips fit. I bought 2 packs of 24 clips from Olsa when I purchased my first socket organizer and then I ordered another 24 pack at the same time I ordered my second ARES socket organizer on 4/28/20. They work perfectly. But thats crap! I should be able to choose what I need - and that goes for all the makers of these multi-socket holders or I would definitely have marked Ares down at least 1 star. Now I have a bag full of 1/4s and 1/2 clips that are worthless to me, but which I had to pay for. Just FYI, the exact measurements of the organizer are 6 x 17. With the 1.5 handle (5” wide), total length is 18.5. Height is 1 height with 1/2 socket clips. Precise measurements are: 5 17/16 x 17, and the handle: 4 4/8 x 1.5.

I actually really like this socket organizer. I would have given it 5 stars but the problem is that with a full set of metric and SAE in the same row, the backing is about 3/4 too short, so you cant put say 10 3/8 Metric and 10 SAE on the same row (unlike the description says). Plus, I dont know about you but I have a lot more 3/8 sockets than I do 1/2. So now I have about 20 1/2 clips I cant use and Im short about 20 3/8 and 10 1/4 clips. I should mention though that I liked the first one enough to go back and order a second. Then I ordered the additional 20 3/8 clips and 10 1/4 clips. Socket overkill? Yeah, I guess.

    Greater than one week

Im the type of guy that builds small to medium sized tool boxes for dedicated purposes. A go bag for each hobby essentially. But as life went along I got rid of some of my hobbies and it just made sense to consolidate. This here socket holder has had a big part in that. Initially I bought one. How foolish... Ive got two now with several additional clip purchases. lol. Yeah, expect to buy more clips. Speaking of which, the 3/8 clips have held onto my assortment of heavy sparkplug sockets without a fuss. They also store the ridiculous amount of 10mm (5) and 1/2 (7) sockets I have just fine. As youd expect, this 80 socket model does get rather heavy when you load it up completely. Not much you can do about that. The convenience factor of being able to move that many sockets at once is undeniable though. I use to store my sockets on individual rails or in whatever holder the sockets came in. This definitely feels superior, though I wouldnt put this 80 socket contraption on the concrete when Im under a car. For me, its too big and heavy and tends to get in the way as it just doesnt want to move. Seems there is one manufacturer of this specific model. Ares, Mechan Tools, OEMTools, and Olsa from the looks of things are all distributing the same item. Definitely a well built product.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have a collection of sockets from different sets and needed a way to keep them organized. This product did the trick. I can attach the sockets and carry them around without them falling out. And I can organize them how I want. It has plenty of room for expansion ( more tools!!!). And it fits in my portable tool box. Could not be happier.

Good quality. I wish there were less 1/4 and more 3/8. I have mine loaded up and hanging on the wall with no issues.

This is exactly what I was looking for, saves so much room in my toolbox, and fits the sockets I need it to

I dont regret my purchase as it functions nicely. Though I would have preferred the options of being able to buy, or receiving some extra socket caps. I just dont need two full rows of 3/8th and only one row of 1/4 and 1/2. So its just 4/5 due to lack of customizability.
