Arkon Camera Wall Mount for CCTV POV Camcorders Cameras

> 3 dayExcellent camera wall mount. Very sturdy, all metal, except for the adjustment knobs and camera stage which are hard plastic. Camera stage has a slightly cushioned rubber mount to gently but firmly tighten the camera in place. Two ball joints and an elbow allow camera orientation in any direction. Ball Joints have slightly serrated surfaces so that they stay fixed. Elbow has teeth mechanism to fix it in place. Wall mount screws are provided and easily hold the entire assembly with a mounted camera. I dont know why other reviewers say it is shorter than advertised, as it is just over 8 1/2 inches exactly as advertised, as shown in one of my photos. Great value for the money and perfect for our studio. Will be getting more of these wall mounts for other rooms in the studio.

> 3 dayI use it to mount a camcorder on a high shelf in a film studio. That particular camera is used for a wide angle and isnt necessary to be adjusted. The wall mount is perfect for the job!

> 3 dayI was surprised at how sturdy this product is when I started using it. The hinge joint includes teeth that prevent it from moving or sliding under weight. The ball joints hold securely when fastened tightly. This could easily hold more weight than the camcorder and handle grip setup I am using. The joints and moveable parts make this very flexible for any setup one might want.

Price to Value Consumer
> 3 dayThis mount is pricey but with it there are unlimited positions you can set your security cam. I used this to mount an security cam in a situation where the standard mount just would not fit my desired positioning. Worked like a charm. Update: I liked it so much I bought another one. This one came with the packaging opened as the staples were removed from the bag. I really needed to install it so kept it anyway. Because of that I downgraded my opinion from 4 to 3. Functionality was still great for this product though.

Greater than one weekPrice on this was about five times as much as the first mount I ordered--but the sturdiness, quality, fit, and finish were FAR better than the first one. This mounted easily and quickly. The adjustments are almost infinitely variable, and since this is made of cast and machined aluminum you will not worry about this fracturing, bending, falling, or breaking--nor will your worry about your expensive camera or projector falling due to failure of the mount. Another great aspect of this mount? If you were a little off in your measuring for mounting your projector (mine is an LG PF1500 1080p native-res) this will allow you to orient your projector right, left, forward, or back, as long as the mount is low enough to permit those adjustments. For example, my screens viewing area is approximately 9.5 below the ceiling, and the top of my projectors image begins at the center of its lens. If I need to make adjustments I would want to have the mount far enough from my ceiling to allow a bend in the mount, which would then move the top of the image upward somewhat, toward the ceiling. In other words, if you want such adjustments attach the mount to a wooden block, etc. to get it a little lower, so that adjusting the joints wont raise your projector above where you need it to be. At any rate, I have not found any ceiling mount for a small projector like mine that provides the range of adjustment yet is so sturdy. I have no reservations about heartily recommending this one!

> 3 dayLove this mount! It is easy to install, sturdy, and works as described. I use it to film overhead painting videos and like that I can lower it to keep it out of my headspace while painting in my studio on non filming days. It folds perfectly flat against the wall when not in use. Very nice. The joints stay put when tightened so camera does not jitter.

> 3 dayThese mounts articulate very well. I mounted 5 of these beneath a large conference table for microphones and small camcorders. Easy to adjust and small form factor. Very pleased.

Greater than one weeki was a little worried about slippage and strength, but after getting it, i was really impressed. the way its designed, theres very little drift and slip. the two ends are cleverly designed to lock in place. the middles have teeth that make slippage nearly impossible.

> 3 dayI searched high and low for a bracket to hold 2 of my 3 new security cameras. I needed to position the cameras in precise positions that only an articulated arm could do. There were a number of similar brackets on Amazon but this was the only one I found that was metal and not plastic. They were pretty expensive, especially for 2, but considering their purpose, I suppose it was worth it. I just wish they were longer. Even so, the multiple adjustment points let me position the brackets and the cameras they hold exactly the way I wanted. I highly recommend this bracket.
