Greater than one weekI bought this with the intent of making a rig for my Sony a6000, worked like a charm, all the jaunts can be tightened so their is absolutely no wiggle which is good for video. The build quality also feels very nice all metal construction with a nice finish.

Greater than one weekAfter trying a cheap 10 dollar option that failed miserably I was determined to find something that would just work, even if it cost a little more than I wanted to spend. Let me tall you, Im so glad I spent the extra few bucks! This thing is so good. Im using it in a little less traditional sense. I took an idea from one of the reviews here where they had their projector mounted on this and then some T-Track. I refined the design a bit as I wanted this thing to be really sturdy, and it is. I may have put most of my weight and hung off this thing for a split second to make sure it wasnt going anywhere... It didnt budge. Now I can move my camera into virtually any position I want for overhead and top down shots! If I need more range I can just mount more T-Track and bam. This mount uses the standard AMPS mounting pattern of 30x38mm. Mine also had three additional holes in a triangular pattern. I used some M3 head screws and nuts, I think they were 12mm in length. M4 screws will just fit though the holes, but I wanted a little wiggle room to account for just using a hand drill instead of drill press to bore them. The mount articulates very nicely with two ball joints on either end and an elbow joint in the middle. The elbow joint has teeth to keep it locked in place and the ball jointed have a small grooved pattern machined into them to really lock things into place. The camera and lens on here weigh in at only about 1.5lbs, but I can tell you thing can hold a lot more weight than that if it needed to. Not just hold it either, but LOCKS it into place. Super impressed with this mount that I actually purchased a different model Arkon mount to complete my setup.

> 3 dayThis thing can handle weight. I am not kidding. I had my camera, jig box, flash and battery on it and it did not give up on me. panning, rotating and it help up. Very nice. I purchased 2 already and will buy 2 more for my church. It have various knobs to allow you aim it to d desired direction. Left, right, up, down, degree bent or tilted u name it. Go for it. Just make sure the (base) 4 screws are on a stud or firm.

> 3 dayThis is very well made. Once the screws are tight the arms are very solid. They will not move. I am impressed. Most arms like this move after a while, but this wont.

> 3 dayIt is about the size of a box of matches but this thing holds up very well and is well built. I use a Cannon video camera and it holds it with no problem and the mounts are very secure!
