A little weak, you have to crank on the thing!

I was surprised at how sturdy this product is when I started using it. The hinge joint includes teeth that prevent it from moving or sliding under weight. The ball joints hold securely when fastened tightly. This could easily hold more weight than the camcorder and handle grip setup I am using. The joints and moveable parts make this very flexible for any setup one might want.

I had a lot of trouble with this mount and eventually gave up on it. It’s difficult to adjust, and once tightened to a particular position, any little bump would knock it off course.

It allows for a bomb proof set up, incredible flexibility & the strength to handle almost any gear. If you need a reliable and flexible mount to get those crucial birds eye workbench shots, this fits the bill perfectly. By installing the mounting plate on the underside of a sturdy shelf above your workbench, you will be able to easily capture all the action as you create your cool stuff. Until now, Ive been reasonably happy with a couple of Arkon Camera Clamp Mounts. The thing is: they are a BEAR to adjust - the strength required to bend the gooseneck, and the limited range of the swivel head make it a real chore to change your setup. Now that Ive experienced the ease of use, quality construction and reliability of this unit, Ill RARELY use the Clamp Mounts. Couldnt be happier. Thank you for creating a product that precisely meets the needs of this particular Maker.

Isnt insanely long so make sure your setup is close to the wall, but holds my heavy camera great!

This is worth every penny! I fit my Sony alpha 2600 mirror less on it like a charm! It’s super easy to install in the wall and is very sturdy and amazing! Totally was worth it!
