Permanent installation in Church Balcony for a 4 camera livestream service. The week after installation it was moved to an outdoor Patio with shade sails in Southern California when COVID-19 guidelines closed inside worship. Very east to install the base again. The camera is mounted on the unit and the twist knob makes installation and removal very easy so the camera can be stored.

As with most other arkon products this is good quality. I like it. Mostly all aluminum and very sturdy when mounted.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to be happy with this, but damn it….this is one very heavy duty Mount! Love it.

Its a sturdy mount. On the other hand, its a short mount. If the mount is straight, you get a grand total of 7 for extension. Considering the length, its also a little pricy. It did come with two sets of different length screws and a set of anchors for mounting to drywall.

I needed this mount to solve an unusual problem. Was doing LiveStreams out of apartment and using an app to utilize iPhone as 2nd Webcam. iPhone was very sensitive to vibrations from performances captured during LiveStreams when mounted on tripod. Decided to look for security cam style wall mount. After researching a variety of products, and looking at some Youtube video reviews, the Arkon seemed like the best solution. PLEASE NOTE: one reviewer said NOT to use the screws included, as the heads strip easily, so I provided my own. Used a slightly larger diameter/length with my own anchors and had no problems.

I was surprised at how sturdy this product is when I started using it. The hinge joint includes teeth that prevent it from moving or sliding under weight. The ball joints hold securely when fastened tightly. This could easily hold more weight than the camcorder and handle grip setup I am using. The joints and moveable parts make this very flexible for any setup one might want.

EASY TO INSTALL. WITH THE ANCHORS IT HOLDS STURDILY INTO THE WALL. GOOD FOR THE PRICE
