This camera mount is all metal, and very well built. I will be using it to mount a 3.3 pound camera under our church balcony. The variable adjustments work very well, and stay firmly locked into place. This should last for years to come.

This mount is great. I can point my camera exactly where I want it.

For those involved in beginner level video or still photography content creation, this tool is incredible. It allows for a bomb proof set up, incredible flexibility & the strength to handle almost any gear. If you need a reliable and flexible mount to get those crucial birds eye workbench shots, this fits the bill perfectly. By installing the mounting plate on the underside of a sturdy shelf above your workbench, you will be able to easily capture all the action as you create your cool stuff. Until now, Ive been reasonably happy with a couple of Arkon Camera Clamp Mounts. The thing is: they are a BEAR to adjust - the strength required to bend the gooseneck, and the limited range of the swivel head make it a real chore to change your setup. Now that Ive experienced the ease of use, quality construction and reliability of this unit, Ill RARELY use the Clamp Mounts. Couldnt be happier. Thank you for creating a product that precisely meets the needs of this particular Maker.

The jam nut is plastic, and broke the first time I used it. If you back the nut off too far, it wedges up against the 1/4-20 screw and splits open. The rest of it is fine, but it barely held my cisco PTZ camera.

This thing is a BOSS! I use it to mount my Panasonic G7 (with a little LED panel in the shoe mount) above my computer monitor like a webcam. It works great. Adjustment makes sense and locks in. This is possible the most solid/sturdy/rigid mounting device Ive used to date - the wall mount is rock solid, as are the joints. It has no problem with my G7 and a big heavy Cine lens and LED panel.

Solid camera mount. I am not using this for its intended purpose so I will rate it on quality. I am using this to ceiling mount a cheap projector. It serves the purpose but it is a solid sturdy camera mount.

We used this to mount a Logitech camera on a drop-tile ceiling (using wood backing) in a conference room to broadcast presentations and it worked out really well. The mount was super easy to adjust and most importantly - stays in place once tightened. We will definitely use these again.
