I washed them before use and the wash cloths still colored the water red. Washed again on Sanitize with a cup of white vinegar and it has almost eliminated fading. I think one more washing and the extra dye might stop fading. I do not recommend washing with other colors.

I am a pinkoholic. So, especially in my kitchen I am always on the prowl for pink things. I was out of this type of dish rag. Had been looking for weeks but the prices were stupid. This product is great! I use them to pat dry my face after I wash it; I like them much better than regular wash clothes because they absorb the wet immediately.
