Greater than one weekMy iPhone has a protective backing attached to it, and thus it will not fit in the cases that are designed for iphones. The case is larger than the phone , but with the edging and the flap inside the case it stays quite secure. Also the loops for the pencils/pens serve nicely to hold my stylus. It does exactly what I hoped it would. Versatile product !
